David Lee Ellis

David Lee Ellis, age 55, of Asheboro died Friday, August 6, 2010. Mr. Ellis was born March 4, 1955 in Cleveland, TN the son of the Abner and Barbara Jean (Rutledge) Ellis. Mr. Ellis was a native of Cleveland, TN. and a member of Solid Rock Baptist Church. He was self employed as an auto paint and body repairman. In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by a great grandchild: Henry L. Steele, sister: Rosie Ellis and brother: Jimmy Ellis. He is survived by his wife: Cynthia C. Ellis, children: Jeff L. Ellis, David L. Ellis, Jr. and his wife, Leslie H. Ellis, Wayne L. Steele, Jr. and Shelly A. Steele; grandchildren: Jeff L. Ellis, Jr., Jessica Ellis, Mikey Ellis, David L. Ellis, III, Madison R. Steele, Garrett M. Brewer, Nathan S. Ellis, Wayne L. Steele, III, Bionca W. Steele; great grandchild: Allyssa L.Settle; sisters: Ann Coke and her husband, Jesse Coke, Teresa Ellis and Nancy Ferguson; brothers: Carl Ellis, Tony Ellis and Kenny Ellis and his father and mother in laws: John and Marion Charles. The family will receive friends Sunday, August 8, 2010 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC. Funeral services will be held Monday, August 9, 2010 at 2:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro with Rev. Perry Brown officiating.
