It’s time to say good bye.
There will be no more tomorrows for me. The body will perish but the soul will live on, and so will our memories in the hearts of those we left behind. I was born in Randleman, lived a simple life with a lot of love. My parents Grady and Neva Griffin worked hard to provide my sister Barbara, my brother Jimmy, and my baby sister Ruth Ann and I the best life possible in a time when things were not very plentiful for anyone. As I look back at my time on this earth, I am very grateful for many things, most of all my great children, Mitchell, Janet, and Mark. Also my wife and soul mate Elaine, my lifelong friends Don Gaster, Butch Coltrane and Jimmy Lamb. The book on my life is not closing, just finishing a chapter and starting another one. My hope is to see everyone in the next dimension. Each one of us will die one day so make the best of each day and cherish all the memories.
I bid you all “Farewell”…
Darrell W. Griffin
