Darlene Hall Wyrick

Darlene Hall Wyrick, age 45, of 2028 Old Plank Road, Sophia died Tuesday, September 16, 2008 at Forsyth Medical Center, Winston- Salem. Mrs. Wyrick was born November 7, 1962 in Asheboro, NC the daughter of the late Clayborn Jesse and Martha (Smith) Hall. She married Avery Wyrick November 16, 1986. She graduated from East Carolina University with a B.S. in Nursing; then in 2007 was awarded a Master's in Nursing Education from Walden University. She was employed at Randolph Hospital where she was a major contributor to the Infant Bereavement Services and the Coordinator of the annual "Walk to Remember". She also was a nursing instructor at Davidson Community College. She was a member of Neighbors Grove Wesleyan Church. She is survived by her husband: Avery Wyrick; mother: Martha Honeycutt of Thomasville, and one brother: Clay Hall of Asheboro, NC. The family will receive friends Thursday, September 18th from 6:00-9:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC, other times at the home of Bradley and Leola Yates, 2012 Old Plank Road, Sophia, NC. The funeral will be Friday, September 19th at 4:00 PM at Neighbors Grove Wesleyan Church, 1928 N. Fayetteville St., Asheboro with Rev. Doug Dennis and Rev. Bill Barnes officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Memorials may be made to donor's choice.
