Daphne Sue Oldham

Daphne Sue Yow Oldham, age 70, of 2271 Forest Hill Dr., Asheboro died Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at Randolph Hospital. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2011 at 11:00 am at Harvest Field Baptist Church with Rev. Faron Overton officiating. Burial will follow in New Hope Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Oldham was born in Guilford County, NC on October 21, 1941 to Eugene and Mary Snyder Yow. She was formerly employed as a CNA and was retired from Lincoln Financial Group. Daphne was a member Sumner Baptist Church in Greensboro. She is survived by her husband, Roy Crockford Oldham, Jr. of the home; daughter, Michelle Worcester and her husband David of Asheboro, NC; grandchildren, David Worcester, Jr., Kyle Worcester, Chassity Worcester, Damian Worcester; and great grandchild, Angela Worcester. The family will receive friends on Friday, October 28, 2011 from 7:00-9:00 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC and other times at her home and at the home of her daughter, 2181 Forest Hill Dr., Asheboro.
