Danny Ray Jenkins

Danny Ray Jenkins, age 32, of 187 N. Main Street, Staley died Saturday, July 19, 2008 at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital, Greensboro. Danny was born December 20, 1975 the son of Billy "Bill"Ray and Linda (Smith) Jenkins. Danny was a native of Staley and loved spending time with his niece and nephews and all of his family. He also loved the gravy biscuits from Main Street Grill in Staley. Danny was affiliated with White Cross Baptist Church of Staley. The family would like to extend special thanks to Johnny and Donna Justice III and the boys. Danny was preceded in death by grandparents: Kermit L.A. Jenkins, Willard P. and Emma Smith and uncles: Gary Jenkins, Harold Smith and Thomas James Freeman. He is survived by Parents, Billy Ray and Linda Smith Jenkins of Staley, NC; Sister and her significant Ooher, Linda Wray Jenkins and Larry Wiseman of Staley, NC; brother and his fiancee, Donald Ray Jenkins and Susan Daniel of Franklinville, NC; niece, Avianna C. Jenkins of Franklinville, NC; nephews, Willard R. and Daniel R. Jenkins of Franklinville, NC; former sister-in-law, Jamie D. Frazier of Franklinville, NC; grandparents, Harvey and Annie May Butcher of Franklinville, NC as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, special friends and neighbors. The family will receive friends Sunday, July 20, 2008 from 6:00-9:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC. The funeral will be Monday, July 21, 2008 at 2:00 PM a Graveside Service with Rev. Troy Ed Brown officiating. Burial will be in Staley Cemetery.
