Asheboro

It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of beloved husband, father, and grandfather, Danny Wade Gray, who left us on September 8, 2024, at the age of 71, in his home, surrounded by his loving family. He was a man of immense humor and wisdom, cherishing every moment spent with his loved ones. His passion for helping others and his unwavering spirit will forever be remembered.

Danny was born to Neely and Shirleen Gray of Asheboro. He was a graduate of Asheboro High School. He was a true patriot.

He is survived by his wife, Debbie Gray; daughter Devin Howell (John); grandchildren Grayson Howell and Zoey Howell; brothers, Darrell Gray (Elyse) of Florida and Don Gray (Cathy) of Greensboro; and sisters, Lisa Welch (Clayton) of Randleman and Lori Beasley (Craig) of Asheboro.

Danny, you were our "go-to" when life got rough, you were our sanity in this crazy world, and our comfort when we needed clarity. You were always someone we could count on. You always gave it 110% and never stopped fighting for what is right.

Our family wishes to thank all those who helped throughout this difficult journey. Your support has meant the world to us all.
