Daniel Willard Stevens, age 74, of Randleman died Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at Kindred Hospital, Greensboro. Mr. Stevens was a native of Lenior City, TN. and retired from Jockey International in Randleman. Daniel was a kind and gentle man who loved and cared for his family. He enjoyed life to the fullest and always wore a smile. Daniel is preceded in death by his son, Jessie Long; daughter Wanda Hill; 3 brothers and 2 sisters. He is survived by his wife: Carol New Stevens, of the home; daughters: Debbie Warren and her husband John of Plant City, FL., Lisa Bowman of Asheboro, Carol Sue Stevens of Randleman, and Maggie Smith and her husband Tyler of Level Cross; 11 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; sisters: Dixie Butler and her husband Stanley of Sarsota, FL., and Pearl Evans of Picayune, MS; brother: David Stevens and his wife Sue of Picayune, MS. The family will receive friends Saturday, September 5, 2015 from 10:30-11:30 AM at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC. A graveside service will be held Saturday, September 5, 2015 at 12:00 pm at Liberty Road Baptist Church Cemetery, 2179 WOW Rd., Randleman with Rev. Paul Freeman officiating.
