Daniel Douglas Chapman

Daniel Douglas "Danny" Chapman, age 54, of Asheboro died Saturday, September 2, 2017 at Randolph Health, Asheboro.

Born July 27, 1963, Danny is the son of Donald Ellis Chapman, Sr. and Ruby Jean Luck Chapman who has preceded him in death.

Mr. Chapman was a native of Randolph County and a truck driver for Trinity Transport. He enjoyed his job, driving and seeing the many different places he traveled. Danny loved anything involving cars, traveling to the mountains and was a very determined person who was never a quitter.

He is survived by his siblings: Donald (Jean) Chapman of Hickory, Tammy McCury of Asheboro, James Chapman of Asheboro, Ronald (Dawn) Chapman of Denton, Sherry (Steve) Fain of Trinity and Robbie (Angie) Chapman of Randleman, several nieces and nephews and extended family and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at 5:00 PM at Danny's home, 5265 Candlebrook Drive, Asheboro, NC.
