Dale Parker Hall

Dale Parker Hall, age 74, of Sophia died Thursday, July 11, 2019 at his home.

Mr. Hall was born April 27, 1945 in Asheboro, the son of Henry Lee and Nina Rierson Hall. Dale was a graduate of Asheboro High School and loved making and collecting pottery. He was also a very quick witted person who enjoyed gardening. In addition to his parents, Dale is preceded in death by his former wife, Shirley Harmon Hall; son, David Pendry; sister, Mary Louise Chafin and long time companion, Mary Hopkins.

He is survived by two sons, Grant Hall and wife Molly of Durham, and Jason Parker Hall and girlfriend Whitney Gosden of Los Angeles, CA; daughter-in-law, Kim Pendry of Asheboro; grandchildren, Nina, Holden, Matthew, Jessica, and Stephen; great grandchildren, Tyler and Grant; sister, Nancy and husband Guy York of Asheboro; brother, David Hall of Asheboro; and girlfriend, Kim Lemons of Asheboro.

The family will receive friends on Monday, July 15, 2019 at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro from 10:00 – 10:45 am. A memorial service will follow at 11:00 am in the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, with Mike Thompson officiating. Inurnment will be at New Hope Memorial Gardens, Asheboro, following the service.
