Cornelia Lefler Hamilton, age 76, formerly of Asheboro, passed away Saturday, January 10, 2009 at her daughters home in Ramseur..Mrs. Hamilton was born October 5, 1932 in Stanley County, NC, the daughter of the late Bill and Bertha (Springer) Lefler. Mrs. Hamilton was a retired sales representative for Avon after 34 years. She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Lewis Eugene (Gene) Hamilton; daughter, Wanda H. Hicks; sister, Bertha Maness; and brothers, Harry E. Lefler, who was killed in Korea and Newby Lefler of Kannapolis. She is survived by her Daughter & her husband: Donna and Terry Hollady of Ramseur, NC; Son & his wife: Ronnie Lewis and Connie Hamilton of Asheboro, NC; Grandchildren: Kevin and Barry Hamilton, Jeff and Richard Hollady, Brian and Brittney Hicks, and Derrick and Dennis Allen; Great Grandchildren: Emily Hamilton, Jessica Hollady, Mason and Shalon Hicks, Kameron Leake, Casey Hamilton, Edward Smith, Garrett, Katie, Joshua, Jessica and Grayson Allen, Sister: Ann W. Langley of Franklin, TN.The family will receive friends Monday from 6 - 8 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC and other times at her daughters home, 962 Patterson Grove Rd., Ramseur, NC. The funeral will be held Tuesday at 2:00 PM at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Adrian Pugh officiating.
