Corey Isaiah Peak Barker, age 3, of 4046 Golden Meadow Rd., Asheboro died Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at his home. Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 3, 2010 at 11:00 am at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Edward J. Arroyo officiating. Burial will be in Giles Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery. He is survived by mother and step-father, Tiffany Peak and William East of Asheboro; father, Ryan Barker of Asheboro; brothers, Elijah East and Gabriel Whitaker both of the home; grandparents, Robert J. Christensen, III of Asheboro, Tresa Peak of Asheboro, Thomas Peak of Kernersville, Terry Richardson of Asheboro, Cheryl Maness of Asheboro; great grandparents, Helen Smith of DeFord, MI, Norma Jean Barnes of Charleston, WV, James H. Maness of Asheboro, Gene and Voney Brady of Asheboro, Linda Richardson of Georgia; aunts, Teila Peak, Amber Barker, Ashley Maness all of Asheboro. The family will receive friends Friday, July 2, 2010 from 6-8 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Ave., Asheboro.
