Cora Kinder

Cora Meredith Kinder, age 95, of Randleman died Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital, Greensboro.Mrs. Kinder was born February 21, 1923 the daughter of John and Rosa Meredith. Cora was a native of Alexander County. In addition to her home in Randleman she had a home in Mt. Airy, NC. At the age of 93 due to her health, Mrs. Kinder had to give up her work as a court-appointed advocate for abused or neglected children with the Randolph County, Guardian ad litem Program. She was a member of the Church of God, Body of Christ, Seventh Day of Randleman, NC. She was a saintly woman that loved her church and family and would always help those in need. Cora also enjoyed crocheting. Among her many accomplishments in life, Cora developed and taught many Bible classes. In addition to her parents, Cora is preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Kinder, son, James Kinder, a foster daughter Carol Mitchel and four sisters.She is survived by her two sons: John Kinder (Nancy) of Mt Airy, and Tracy Kinder (Amanda) of Mt. Airy; grandchildren, Kelly Kinder, Chip Kinder, Bobby Kinder, Joseph Kinder, Greg Gentry, Mark Gentry, Duncan Kinder and Hannah Rose Kinder; great grandchild, Mason Kinder.The family will receive friends Monday, June 25, 2018 from 1:00 - 1:45 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm with Rev. Bill Harwell, Rev. Ray Robinson and Rev. John Kinder officiating.
