Constance Irene Kellis Goodwin

Constance Irene Kellis Goodwin, age 65, of Norman, passed away Sunday, July 22, 2012 at the home of her sister, Barbara Frick, of 357 Saunders Road, Troy. Mrs. Goodwin was born August 9, 1946 at Montgomery County, NC, the daughter of Winfred and Agnes Greene Kellis. Irene was a member of Center Baptist Church of Jackson Springs and a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Edwin Goodwin. She is survived by one son: Scottie Wayne Goodwin of Albemarle; one granddaughter: Elizabeth Ann Goodwin of Red Cross; three sisters: Mary Pursel of Lebanon, Indiana, Barbara Frick of Troy and Teresa Kellis of Albemarle. The family will receive friends Monday, July 23, 2012 from 6 pm - 8 pm at Pugh-Troy Funeral Home, 211 North Main Street, Troy; other times at 357 Saunders Road, Troy. A graveside service will be Tuesday at 2 pm at Kellis Family Cemetery, Violet Loop Rd, Jackson Springs with Rev. Gene Thomas officiating. Pugh-Troy Funeral Home is assisting the Goodwin family.
