Connor Lane Beeson, 19, of Sophia died tragically on Monday, January 19, 2015. Born Nov. 23, 1995, in Asheboro, Connor was the son of Reginald and Christine Beeson. He was a birthright Quaker and a member of Marlboro Friends Meeting, attending Archdale Friends. He graduated from Randleman High School in 2014 and was attending GTCC where he studied Computer-Integrated Machining. He planned to pursue a career in manufacturing and machining. Connor loved life and lived it to the fullest. Some of his biggest passions were his family, his girlfriend, his truck (White Thunder), the outdoors, and spending time with friends. Connor was active in sports during his time in high school, running cross-country, playing tennis, and wrestling. He also participated in several extra-curricular activities, most notably his participation in the Outdoors Club at Randleman High where he worked hard every year to help put on the Dreaming Big Deer Hunt for handicapped individuals who wanted to hunt. Connor is survived by his parents, Reginald and Christine, his brother, Ryan, his grandparents, Elmer and Adis Beeson of Sophia, and Richard and Marilyn Hartsock of Albemarle, his girlfriend, Chasity Hartke, his aunts and uncles, Nan and Donnie York, Timothy and Ashlea Beeson, Karen and Charlie Murdock, and Linda and Jon Banashek, and his cousins, Jackie, Phillip, Donald, Elmer, John, Timothy, Elizabeth, Elijah, and Sage. Loved by all, Connor is also survived by many extended family members and friends that meant the world to him. The funeral will be at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, January 22, 2015 at Marlboro Friends Meeting, 2668 Marlboro Church Rd., Sophia, with Rev. Rusty Parsons, Tracey Matson, Ray Luther officiating and Kim McTillmon providing the devotion . Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends following the committal service in the Family Life Center at Marlboro Friends Meeting. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the following: Glenola Sportsmen For Christ, Dreaming Big Deer Hunt 5171 Windemere Cir. Trinity, NC 27370 or to Quaker Lake Camp 1503 NC Hwy 62 E. Climax, NC 27233.
