Connie Matthews Gantt

Connie Matthews Gantt, age 64, of Jamestown died Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at her home.

Mrs. Gantt was born July 9, 1954 the daughter of James and Edna LaPrade Matthews.

Connie was a native of Randolph County and attended Randleman High School. She was formerly employed with Sears in Greensboro and had worked in upholstery. Connie is preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her daughter, Beth Stone and husband Matthew of Denton; granddaughter, Kate Stone of Denton; sisters: Janet Roberts and husband Larry of Jackson Springs, Teresa West and husband Lee of Vass, NC and Regina Haynes and husband Terry of Level Cross; brothers: Joseph Matthews of Randleman and Pahl Sum and wife Savannah of Asheboro.

The family will receive friends Friday, August 10, 2018 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC. The funeral will follow at 12:00 in the chapel. A private burial will be held at a later time.
