Colt Thomas Matthews, infant son, went home to be with his Heavenly Father on Friday, June 10, 2016, at Brenner Children's Hospital in Winston-Salem.
Colt was born May 14, 2016, the loving son of Stuart and Alicia Matthews. During Colt's short time here on Earth, his precious soul touched many people and left a lasting love in everyone's hearts.
In addition to his parents, Colt is survived by his sisters, Maggie Matthews, Alexis Sawyer, and Cheyanne Matthews, all of the home; grandparents, Dianna and William Rarick of Franklinville, Mike Lewis of Lexington, Teresa and Richard Matthews of Liberty; great-grandparents, Larry and Betty Staley of Franklinville, Betty Matthews of Burlington, Dorothy Lafon of Virginia, and Wanda Manring of Thomasville; great-great-grandfather, Kenneth MCcadden; aunts and uncles, Ashley Lewis, Billy and Amanda Lewis, Amber Lewis and Austin Lewis.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 12, 2016, from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main St., Randleman, N.C.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 13, 2016, at 11 a.m. at Providence Friends Meeting, 2054 Providence Church Road, Pleasant Garden, with the Rev. Larry W. McEntire officiating. Burial will follow in the meeting cemetery.
