Clyde Dewey Small

Clyde Dewey Small, age 83, of Randleman died Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at Randolph Hospice House, Asheboro. Mr. Small was born January 26, 1929 the son of Marvin and Claudia Small. Mr. Small is a native of Randolph County and served in the US Army. Clyde retired from Laughlin Hosiery Mill with 29 years of service. He enjoyed farming, horses, and gardening. In addition to his parents Clyde is preceded in death by his sisters, Ollie Fruitt and Ruth O'Brien and brother, Fred Small. He is survived by his wife: Betty Spencer Small, of the home; daughter: Teresa Lanier and her husband Jim of Randleman; sons: Tommy Small, of Randleman and Gary Small and his partner Leo Scott of Charlotte; 2 grandchildren; sister, Millie Cooper of Randleman; brother, Gene F. Small of Randleman. The family will receive friends Friday, December 21, 2012 from 12 noon-1:30 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC. A graveside service will follow at 2:00 pm at Randolph Memorial Park, 4538 US Hwy 220 Bus. North, Asheboro.
