Clyde Columbus Bullins, age 92, of Franklinville passed away on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Bullins was a born in Stokes County on April 25, 1926 to William Jonie and Onighter Dell Duggins Bullins. Clyde served his country in the U.S. Army where he received a Purple Heart. He was retired from Union Carbide. Clyde enjoyed raising and training Field Trial Beagles and dancing to good band music. In addition to his parents, Clyde was preceded in death by his grandson, Mark Bullins and brothers, Grover and Roy Bullins.
He is survived by his son, Ronald C. Bullins of Asheboro; grandson, Jeff Bullins of Asheboro; granddaughter-in-law, Meredith Bullins of Belmont; great grandchildren, Emily, Logan, Sara, and Drew; sister, Mozelle McKinney of Asheboro; and companion, Glenda Scott of Greensboro.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, October 9, 2018 from 1:00-2:00 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue in Asheboro. Funeral services will follow on Tuesday at 2:00 pm at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Tim Pheagin officiating. Burial will be in Randolph Memorial Park with military honors by the Randolph County Honor Guard.
