Clinton Eugene Cagle

Clinton Eugene Cagle, age 75, of Randleman died Monday, January 30, 2017 at Randolph Hospice House. Mr. Cagle was a native of Randolph County and was a US Army veteran. He was a member of Sophia Baptist Church and retired from Universal Fibers of Asheboro. Clinton loved to be outdoors and was an avid hunter. He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Lula Mae Cagle and brother, Jimmy Cagle. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Cagle; daughter, Rhonda Gayle Maynard and husband Gary of Asheboro; sons, Terry Lee Swaney and wife Terri of Asheboro, Dwayne Edward Swaney and wife Iris of Asheboro; grandchildren, Chad Swaney and wife Debbie of Asheboro, Brandon Levan of Asheville, Heather Simmons and husband Brandon of Robbins, Ashley Swaney of Asheboro, Matthew Swaney of Asheboro; great grandchildren, Nathan Swaney of Asheboro, Braydon Simmons of Robbins, Haylee Simmons of Robbins; brother, Noel Cagle of Asheboro. The family will receive friends Wednesday, February 1, 2017 from 6 - 8 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro. Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 2, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bill Barnes officiating. Burial will be in Randolph Memorial Park. Military Honors will be provided by the Randolph County Honor Guard.
