Clifford Glenn Spivey

Clifford Glenn Spivey, age 74, of Asheboro passed away on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.

Mr. Spivey was born in Randolph County on February 21, 1944 to Clifford Seth and Cornie Yow Spivey. He was formerly employed with B.B. Walker Shoe Company and Donald Henley Sawmill. in addition to his parents, Glenn was preceded in death by his wife, Vauda Lee Hamilton Spivey. Glenn was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and had a good sense of humor.

He is survived by his children, Tammie Holit and husband Bobby of Clayton, Julie Brigman of Asheboro, Alfred Spivey of Asheboro, and Deborah Carter of Asheboro; stepson, David Pierce of Asheboro; stepdaughter, Linda Turner of Texas; 9 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; brother, Donald Spivey and wife Ruta of Asheboro; and sister, Fayedean Hurley and husband Litchard of Asheboro.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 25, 2018 from 2:00-3:00 p.m. at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue in Asheboro. Funeral services will follow on Sunday at 3:00 p.m. at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be held on Monday, November 26, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in Randolph Memorial Park.
