Melvin C. "Cliff" Romanchik, 36, of Wooster, OH. went home to be with the Lord Saturday, Sept., 15, 2012 following injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
He was born Jan. 1, 1976 in Wooster to Melvin C. Perry, Jr. and Christine Graser, but later lived with his adoptive parents, Roland Romanchik and Barbara Wyant. Cliff lived in North Carolina for several years before returning to Wooster.
He graduated from Orrville High School in the class of 1994 and worked for McIlvaine Trucking Co. in Wooster. Cliff was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Rittman and enjoyed spending time with his son and family, NASCAR and was an avid Steelers fan.
Surviving is his wife, Amber; son, Kyle; parents, Melvin Perry, Jr. of Wooster and Christine Graser of Wooster; adoptive parents, Roland Romanchik of Smithville and Barbara Wyant of Orrville; brothers, Walter and Brian Graser of Creston and Andrew Graser of Wooster; sisters, Richelle Romanchik of Orrville, Vikki Gehring of Wooster and Patricia Hughes of Wooster; and in-laws, Joseph L. and Toni Farlow of Asheboro,NC.
The family will receive friends Friday, September 21, 2012 from 6-8 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, Asheboro. Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 22, 2012 at 11:00 am at Berean Memorial Baptist Church, 4991 Branson Davis Road, Sophia with Pastor Joe L. Farlow officiating. Burial will be in Faith Temple Baptist Church Cemetery.
