Clemensia "Clem" Martinez Pridemore, age 75, of Randleman died Thursday, January 21, 2016 at her residence surrounded by her family.
Mrs. Pridemore was born September 27, 1940 the daughter of Nicolas and Annie Houston Martinez.
Mrs. Pridemore was a native of Randolph County, a member at Grace Baptist Church and of the Joyful Noise Gospel Quartet. She was a gracious, loving and giving lady who was always prim and properly dressed. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Roger "Larry" Pridemore, and 5 siblings: David Martinez, Yvonne Martinez, Magdelene Camp, Leonard Martinez and Rebecca Martinez.
She is survived by her son: Michael (Jennifer) Pridemore of San Diego, CA; grandchildren: Matthew Pridemore of Fort Irwin, CA and Kayla Pridemore of Fort Sam Houston, TX both of whom are serving in the US Army; siblings: Richard (Julie) Martinez of Lexington, NC, Theresa Mintz of Randleman, NC, Nicolas (Chris) Martinez of Greensboro, NC, Felix (June) Martinez of Greensboro, NC, Nancy (Rodney) Powell of Greensboro, NC, Geneva (Bernard) Bourgeois of Lutcher, LA, Mary (Gerald) Boyer of Asheboro, NC; numerous nieces and nephews and her extended family at Grace Baptist Church, whom she dearly loved.
The family will receive friends Monday, January 25, 2016 from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at Grace Baptist Church, 435 NC Hwy 62W, Randleman, NC.
The funeral service will follow Monday at 2:30 PM at Grace Baptist Church with Rev. Marvin Patterson officiating. Private burial will be held at a later date.
