Claude T Harris

Claude Thomas Harris, age 82, of 2130 NC Hwy 109S, Mt Gilead died Monday, October 7, 2013 at Carolinas Specialty Hospital, Charlotte. Claude was born December 4, 1930 at Troy, NC. He worked in the maintenance department at McRae Shoe Mfg. prior to his retirement and attended Tabernacle Baptist Church. He is survived by one daughter: Remona Harris of Mosheim, TN and two sons: Michael Harris of Mt. Gilead and Rusty Harris of China Grove; his siblings: Bertha Cesaro, Jannath S Lassiter, both of Troy, Jimmy Saunders of Biscoe, Marie Dennis and Jane Liles, both of Wadeville, Max McRae of Wadeville, Von McRae of Mt. Gilead. The family will receive friends Wednesday, October 9, 2013 from 2:30 pm - 4:00 pm at Pugh-Troy Funeral Home, 211 North Main Street, Troy, NC; other times at the home. Burial will be private.
