Clarence Leon Hartman

Clarence Leon Hartman, age 91, of Golden Living Center passed away February 25, 2008 at the home. A graveside service will be held Thursday, February 28, 2008 at 2:00 pm at New Hope Memorial Gardens, 3448 New Hope Church Road, Asheboro with Rev. Marion Smith officiating. Clarence was born in Granite Quarry, NC, the son of the late John and Anna Hartman. He served in the U. S. Navy and previously attended the Pentecostal Church in Pleasant Garden, N C. In addition to his parents Clarence was preceded in death by his son Ronald Dale Hartman; wife, Mildred Hartman and also the late Anna Jacobs Hartman; one sister, Lucille Rhinehardt and one brother, Bobby Hartman. He is survived by his two children, daughter, Brenda Boone and her husband Bobby of Franklinville, NC, son, Jim Hartman and his wife Pat of Edenton, NC; two sisters, Edna Elium of Rockwell, NC, Mary Miller and her husband Harry of Rockwell, NC; 8 grandchildren; I5 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Thursday, February 28, 2008 from 12:00-1:30 p.m. at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC.
