Clarence Holt Bunting

Clarence Holt Bunting, age 91, of Asheboro passed away Saturday, August 31, 2019 at Clapp's Convalescent Nursing Home, Asheboro.

Mr. Bunting was born July 21, 1928 in Asheboro, NC the son of Clarence Holt Bunting and Ada Merritt Bunting.

Clarence was a native of Asheboro and worked for over 30 years with General Electric/Black and Decker as a time studies analyst. In addition to his parents; Clarence is preceded in death by his wife: Pauline Bunting.

He is survived by two sons: Scott Bunting of Asheboro, Steve Bunting and his wife Christi of Randleman; grandchildren: Melissa Bunting of Troutman, Kathryn Sowers and husband Trent of Statesville, Ben Bunting and wife Allison of New Bern; 4 great grandchildren; sister: Shelby Harris and husband Gene of Asheboro; 2 brother-in-law's: G. R. Kindley, Jr. of Rockingham and David Dunn of Asheboro.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, September 3, 2019 from 1:30 - 2:45 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, prior to the funeral service in the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel at 3:00 pm with Rev. Ray Luther officiating.

Burial will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery, Asheboro.
