Clara Frances Wohlford

Clara Frances Walker Wohlford, age 87, of 417 Hillcrest Dr., Randleman died Tuesday, September 21, 2010 at Randolph Hospital, Asheboro. Mrs. Wohlford was born February 10, 1923 the daughter of Earl and May Pickett Walker. Mrs. Wohlford was a native of Randolph County and a member of First United Methodist Church. She was retired from Eveready Battery of Asheboro and formerly employed with Southern Railroad. Frances volunteered at the American Red Cross. She is survived by four daughters: Tammy Cross of Franklinville, Gina Pugh and Trisha Dennis both of Randleman, and Linda Paul of Fayetteville, GA; grandchildren, Matthew Pugh of Fayetteville,NC, Katie Harrelson, Alyssa Dennis and Tucker Dennis all of Randleman, Paige Cross and Julian Cross both of Franklinville and Michael Wohlford of Leesburg,Va.; great grandchildren, Emma Grace Hardy of Randleman, NC and Michael Charles Wohlford of Leesburg, Va.; sisters: Elsie Johnson of Archdale, and Irene Gourley of Greensboro; brother: Carl Walker of Franklinville. The family will receive friends Thursday, September 23, 2010 from 1:00 - 2:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC. The funeral will follow at 2:00 PM in the Chapel with Rev. Michael Barrett officiating. Burial will be at Randolph Memorial Park, Asheboro. Memorials may be made to American Red Cross, P.O.
