Clara Mae Kidd Burns, 61 of Coleridge, passed away Monday, July 9, 2012 at the Randolph Hospice House.
Mrs. Burns was retired from Chatham Hospital and was of the Baptist faith. She loved her grandkids and animals.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 14, 2012 at 2:00 pm at Shiloh Baptist Church, 4529 Moffitt Mill Rd., Ramseur with Pastor Bruce McLanahan and Pastor Neil Poole officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Clarance and Ella Ree Kidd, brothers James Earl Kidd and Johnny Kidd and granddaughter Samantha Bishop.
Clara Mae is survived by her husband of 43 years Coy Richard Burns of the home; daughter Connie Burns Odom and her husband William Jessie Odom of Franklinville, Esther Burns-Hooker and her husband Derek of Asheboro; son Adam Burns of Coleridge; granddaughters Kelly Lamb, Tina Odom, Tanya Odom and Cassandra "Cassie" Hooker; grandsons Anthony Hooker, Brandon Hooker, Cody Hooker, and Devon Hooker.; great grandchildren Shann Sisk and Ailea Sisk; brothers Harold Kidd of Coleridge, Larry Kidd and his wife Linda of Asheboro; sisters Mary Lee Carter of Tobaccoville, and Betty Ann Ayers and her husband R.C. of Ramseur.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 14, 2012 at Shiloh Baptist Church, prior to the service, from 12:00-2:00 pm.
