Clara Bowman Holder

Clara Lou Bowman Holder, age 70, of 2717 NC Hwy 49 South, Asheboro died Saturday, June 21, 2008 at Clapps Convalescent Nursing Home, Asheboro. Mrs. Holder was born October 18, 1937 the daughter of Jim and Ruby (Coble) Bowman. Mrs. Holder was a native of Guilford County and a retired nurse from Energizer of Asheboro and had also worked at Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro. She was preceded in death by her sister; Betty Blackard and a brother; RD Bowman. She is survived by her husband: Sandy Holder: son and his wife, John D. Campbell, Jr. and Cindy of Staley, NC; grandson, Roger Ledford of Liberty, NC; granddaughter, Heather Ledford of Liberty, NC; great granddaughter , Mackenzie Tucker of Liberty, NC; two sisters: Mary Lee Pike of Liberty, NC, Lucy Trotter of Asheboro, NC and four brothers: Gurney Bowman of Climax, NC, Roy Bowman of Julian, NC, Troy Bowman of Randleman, NC, and Billy Bowman of Greensboro, NC. The family will receive friends Tuesday, June 24, 2008 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC. The graveside service will be Wednesday, June 25, 2008 at 11:00 AM at Randolph Memorial Park, 4538 US Hwy 220 Bus. North, Asheboro with Dr. Rodney Otwell and Rev. David Schwartz officiating.
