Clara Belle Davis

Clara Belle Jessup Davis, age 88, of 1285 NC Hwy. 65, Reidsville, NC, formerly of Sophia, went to her final rest on Saturday, August 21, 2010 at Woodland Hill Care & Rehabilitation in Asheboro. Mrs. Davis was a native of Dobson, NC and was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. She was formerly employed at Laughlin Hosiery Mill in Randleman and was preceded in death by her husband, John William "Bill" Davis, and sons, William Darrell Davis and Larry Wayne Davis. She is survived by her daughter: Faye Davis Hughes of Randleman, NC; son and daughter-in-law, Rev. Gene and Lynn Davis of Reidsville, NC; 8 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC. The funeral will follow on Tuesday at 3:00 PM in the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gary Hill officiating. Burial will follow in Country Holiness Cemetery.
