Christy Dawn Belcher

Christy Dawn Wallin Belcher, age 39, of Denton died suddenly, Monday, August 7, 2017, at her home.

Mrs. Belcher was born September 5, 1977 in Ft. Payne, AL, the daughter of Terry Richard Wallin and Debra Hudgins Wallin.

She was a home maker. Along with her parents, Christy is survived by her husband Edward "Eddie" Belcher; one daughter: Brittany Belcher; and one son: Justin Belcher; three brothers, Dale Wallin of Troy, NC, Chad (Megan) Wallin of North Dakota, and Kevin Smith of Troy, NC.

Christy was a loving wife, mother, daughter and sister, always showing love and kindness to everyone.

Christy's favorite and most comforting Bible verse was the 23rd Psalm:

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.

He maketh me to lie down in green pastures;

He leadeth me beside the still waters;

He restoreth my soul.

He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness

for His name's sake.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the

shadow of death, I will fear no evil;

for thou art with me; thy rod and

thy staff they comfort me.

Thou preparest a table before me in the

presence of mine enemies;

thou anointest my head with oil;

my cup runneth over.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow

me all the days of my life;

and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
