Christopher Scott Brooks

Christopher Scott Brooks, age 23, of 1036 N Main St. Apt. 1-A, Troy died Wednesday, October 8, 2008 at his home. Mr. Brooks was born April 7, 1985 at Winston- Salem, NC the son of Scott Brooks of Statesville and Wendi Re-nee (Murray) Brooks of Troy. He was of the Baptist faith and a part time employee of Aberdeen/Carolina & Western Railway. In addition to his parents he is survived by one sister: Amberea Ann Mic'ele Talbert of Troy; two brothers: Justin Todd Lenderman of Albermarle, Matthew Todd Lenderman of Statesville; grandmother, Betty V. Teague of Troy and grandparents, Rev. Bobby & Sandra Brock of Troy. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2:30-3:30 p.m. at Prospect Baptist Church, 2889 River Rd., Troy. The funeral will be Sunday at 3:30 pm at Prospect Baptist Church with Rev. Bobby Brock officiating. Burial will be in Prospect Baptist Church Cemetery. Arrangements by Pugh-Troy Funeral Home.
