Christine Luck Kidd

Christine Luck Kidd, age 77, of 1193 Luck Rd., Asheboro went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, June 9, 2010. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 12, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Spoons Chapel Christian Church, 1880 Spoons Chapel Rd., Asheboro with Rev. John Auler officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Grove United Church of Christ Cemetery in Bennett. Mrs. Kidd was a native of Randolph County and was retired from Jockey International. She attended Spoons Chapel Christian Church and loved to attend until her health declined. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilson Kidd. She loved to shop and work in her garden and flowers. Christine was a loving mother and grandmother and will be missed forever. She is survived by her sons, Andy Overman, Eddie Overman and his wife Linda, John Kidd and his wife Kathy all of Asheboro; daughter, Christie L. Hunt and her husband David of Asheboro; grandchildren, Michelle Walker and her husband Chad of Asheboro, Paige Heath and her husband Wesley of Greenville, Gina Smith and her husband Russell, Matthew Hunt, Krystal Overman and Katelyn Hunt all of Asheboro; great grandchildren, Kevin and Megan Walker both of Asheboro, Ashton and Grason Heath both of Greenville, Collen and Nathan Saunders and Brett Smith all of Asheboro; brother, Floyd Luck and his wife Margie of Asheboro; sisters, Flona Mae Johnston and Geneva Goins and her husband Edgar all of Asheboro, NC; and her faithful companion, Molly. The family will receive friends on Friday, June 11, 2010 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC.
