Christine Hunsucker Lemons

Christine Hunsucker Lemons, age 71, of Troy died Monday, June 10, 2013 at First Health Moore Regional Hospital, Pinehurst. Christine was born January 17, 1942 at Troy, NC, the daughter of Horace and Pauline Hall Hunsucker. She was a member of Laurel Hill Baptist Church, but attended Biscoe Presbyterian Church. Christine was a homemaker. She is preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Homer Hunsucker. She is survived by her husband of fifty-four years: Jimmy N Lemons of the home; one daughter: Lisa L Stewart and husband John Paul of Biscoe; one son: Wally Lemons and wife, Debbie of Candor; one sister: Linda Stevens and husband, Ronald of Star; three brothers: Lowell Hunsucker and wife, Barbara of Troy, Othar Hunsucker of Troy, Dink Hunsucker and wife, Mildred of Biscoe; four grandchildren: Matthew Lemons, Ashley Lemons, Jessica Stewart, Jason Stewart; one great-grandchild: Makailyn Crider; sister-in-law: Ruby Hunsucker of Troy. The family will receive friends Tuesday, June 11, 2013 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at Pugh-Troy Funeral Home, 211 N Main St., Troy; other times at the home. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 pm at Biscoe Presbyterian Church, Biscoe with Dr. Bruce K Lax officiating. Burial will follow in Southside Cemetery, S. Main St., Troy.
