Christine Nixon Dunn

Christine Nixon Dunn, age 84, of 3344 Mamie May Rd., Franklinville died Saturday, September 24, 2011 at her home. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 28, 2011 from 3:00-5:00 PM at Grays Chapel United Methodist Church, 5056 N.C. Hwy 22 North, Franklinville, NC. The funeral service will follow on Wednesday at 5:00 PM at Grays Chapel United Methodist Church with Rev. Doug Miller and Rev. Alanda Harris officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Mrs. Dunn was born in Randolph County on February 1, 1927 to Tyson and Emma Pugh Nixon. She was retired from Sapona Manufacturing after 51 years of service. Christine was a member of Grays Chapel United Methodist Church and was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years Harvey Lee Dunn. She is survived by her daughter, Connie Beane and her husband Andy of Grays Chapel, NC; and granddaughter, Ashby Christine Beane of Grays Chapel, NC.
