It is with heavy hearts that we bid farewell to our dear loved one, Specialist Christian Gage King-Cassidy, who passed away on August 14, 2023. Specialist Christian Gage King-Cassidy’s departure has left an immense void in our lives, but we take solace in the knowledge that he touched the lives of many and left an indelible mark on our hearts.

Born on February 20, 2003 in Greensboro, NC, Specialist Christian Gage King-Cassidy was a remarkable individual who had a profound impact on those who had the privilege of knowing him. His infectious laughter, genuine kindness, and unwavering loyalty endeared him to friends and family alike. He possessed an incredible ability to form deep and lasting connections, and his circle of friends was a testament to his magnetic personality.

Specialist Christian Gage King-Cassidy's love for his friends was immeasurable. He cherished the bonds he cultivated with each of them, and they, in turn, found solace and joy in his presence. Whether it was embarking on spontaneous adventures, engaging in heartfelt conversations, or sharing laughter-filled moments, Specialist Christian Gage King-Cassidy's friends were an integral part of his life. Their unwavering support and camaraderie brought him immense happiness, and he treasured their companionship dearly.

Specialist Christian Gage King-Cassidy had a passion for movies, and one film in particular held a special place in his heart as a child his favorite movie was Shrek. He was captivated by watching his favorite movies over and over.  Movies transported him to another world and inspired his imagination. Specialist Christian Gage King-Cassidy often shared his love for films with friends, engaging in animated discussions about its themes, characters, and unforgettable moments. He found solace, inspiration, and entertainment in the art of storytelling, and his enthusiasm was contagious.

Specialist Christian Gage King-Cassidy had a zest for life that was evident in everything he pursued. He enjoyed bodybuilding, hiking and playing video games.  He approached his career with dedication and a drive for excellence. Specialist Christian Gage King-Cassidy's colleagues recognized his unwavering commitment and admired his ability to bring a positive and uplifting energy to the workplace. He was not only a respected professional but also a trusted confidant and a source of encouragement to his comrades.

Specialist Christian Gage King-Cassidy's departure leaves a void that cannot be filled, but his memory will forever remain alive in our hearts. We will carry his laughter, kindness, and love with us, drawing strength from the profound impact he had on our lives. Though we mourn his loss deeply, we choose to celebrate his life and the joy he brought to everyone around him.

Specialist Christian Gage King-Cassidy was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, William Herbert King and Dorothy Rozier King, and maternal grandmother Brenda D. Brower.

Specialist Christian Gage King-Cassidy will be deeply missed by his parents William "Bill" King, Jr. (Debra) of Greensboro; mother, Cynthia Cole of Asheboro; Mitchell Cassidy (stepfather) of Durham, his siblings: Myra Mayhand King of Greensboro; Tiffanie Leach of Asheboro, and Anthony Craven of Asheboro.  Aunts and uncles, Cheyenn King Brown, Barbara King Miller, Billy Ray King, Dottie King, Frankie King, Effie Hill, Angela Cobler (Wayne) and Timothy Brower. Niece Paisley Clark, and nephews Tegan Sarrette and Talon Sarrette.  First cousins, Alexandra, Samantha and Heaven Cobler, Brandon King, Jeffrey King, Melanie Leggette, Lashona Miller, Jenita Miller, Alex King, Christopher King, Jasmine King, Kim Brown, Dana Wilborn and Marrion Hill.  His wide circle of friends will always hold a special place in their hearts for the memories they shared with him.  We find solace in knowing that Specialist Christian Gage King-Cassidy's spirit will live on in the laughter, love, and cherished moments he shared with each of us.

Specialist Christian Gage King-Cassidy, your departure leaves a void that cannot be filled, but your memory will forever be a guiding light in our lives. Rest peacefully, knowing that your laughter, love, and friendship will remain eternally cherished.

Specialist Christian Gage King-Cassidy will lie in repose on Friday, August 25, 2023 from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Pugh Funeral Home in Asheboro. The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 26, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Pugh Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Mr. Mike Thompson officiating. Committal services will be held on Tuesday, September 5, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery, 8220 Bragg Blvd. Spring Lake, NC 28390
