Cheryl Kaye Blevins

Cheryl Kaye Bateman Blevins, age 71, of Pleasant Garden died Sunday, January 28, 2018 at Woodland Hill Care & Rehabilitation, Asheboro.

Mrs. Blevins was born June 18, 1946 the daughter of Ernest and Lizzie Ellis Bateman.

Cheryl was a native of Guilford County and a homemaker. She was a hard worker and loyal friend. In addition to her parents, Cheryl is preceded in death by her brothers, Jack and James Bateman and her sister, Bernice (Peggy) Baker.

She is survived by her husband: Allen Reed Blevins of the home; children: Steven Welborn and wife Maxine, Misty Doss, Conley Roberts and wife Nancy all of Greensboro; step daughter, Carolan DeYoung of the home; 7 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Thursday, February 1, 2018 from 11:30 AM-1:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC. A graveside service will follow at 2:00 pm at Lakeview Memorial Park, 3600 N. OHenry Blvd., Greensboro .
