Chelsea King Needham

Chelsea King Needham, age 88, of 653 Nassau Trail, Asheboro died Thursday, October 28, 2010 at Clapp's Convalescent Nursing Home, Asheboro. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, October 31, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. at Huldah Baptist Church, 7187 Old NC 13, Asheboro. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Needham was a native of Seagrove. She was formerly employed with Bossong Hosiery Mill, Acme-McCrary Corporation, Luck's Inc. in Seagrove, and Westmoore and Seagrove Schools. She formerly attended Huldah Baptist Church and Hunt's Plank Road Chapel. Chelsea was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother and was always putting others first. She was always smiling and was an inspiration to everyone. She is survived by her husband, Claude Needham; daughter, Vickie Cable and her husband Harold of Anchorage, AK; sons, Mike Needham of Seagrove, NC; Steve Needham and his wife Janie of Asheboro, NC; grandsons, Elliott Cable of Anchorage, AK, Ryan Needham of Seagrove, NC; and granddaughter, Erica Needham of Asheboro, NC. The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 30, 2010 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC. Memorials may be made to Relay for Life, P.O.
