Charlotte Ackerman Lingard

Charlotte May Ackerman Lingard, age 84, of 4228 Red Oak Drive, Randleman died Friday, November 2, 2012 at Randolph Hospice House, Asheboro. Mrs. Lingard was born October 3, 1928 the daughter of Harold and Sarah Davenport Ackerman. Mrs. Lingard was a native of East Orange, NJ and formerly worked for Dell Publishing. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Randleman, NC. She is survived by her husband: Wilbert Lingard and daughter: Nancy Best both of the home, son: Wayne Lingard and his wife, Marilyn of Hackettstown, NJ; four grandchildren: Roger Best; Ainsley Mercer and her husband Jonathan, Katie Lankford and her husband, Joseph, Michael Booth and his wife, Paula; four great grandchildren: Andrew Lankford, Brianna Lankford, Emily Booth and Amber Booth. A funeral service will be held Monday, November 5, 2012 at 12:30 PM at First Baptist Church, 100 North Main Street, Randleman, NC with Rev. Chris Heppding officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the church. Burial will be in Restland Memorial Park, East Hanover, NJ.
