Charlie Wray Jenkins, age 87, of Franklinville died Saturday, April 25, 2015 at Randolph Health & Rehabilitation in Asheboro.
Mr. Jenkins was born in Asheboro, the son of Philip A. Restor and Minnie Sheron Jenkins and was a non-denominational member of the Christian faith. He was retired from Deep River Dye in Randleman. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Joyce Covington and brothers, Earl and Joe Jenkins.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Ann Shough Jenkins; daughters: Andree and her husband, James Billips of Franklinville, Rindia and her husband, Lee DeVogt of Candor; and Shirley and and her husband, Elford Fox of Candor; Son, Arnold and his wife, Tina Jenkins of Randleman; granddaughters, Angela and her husband, Robbie Martin, Mary Abigail Jenkins, and Jannie Billips; great grandchild, Greyson Martin.
The family will receive friends Monday, April 27, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC 27317. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at 2:00 PM at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel in Randleman with Wanda Craven officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park in Asheboro.
