Charlie Henry Bean, age 86, of 1195 Pineview St., Randleman died Thursday, August 23, 2007 at North Pointe Assisted Living Community, Randleman.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 25, 2007 at 3:00 p.m. at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Johnny R. Henderson officiating. Burial will follow in Giles Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery, Asheboro with military honors by the Randolph County Honor Guard.
Mr. Bean was a native of Randolph County and was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was retired from Nance Chevrolet and was former owner of Davis Tire. He was a member of Giles Chapel United Methodist Church and was preceded in death by his wife, Gladys Jarrell Bean.
He is survived by his sons, Larry Beane and his wife Becky of Pleasant Garden, NC; Donald Bean and his wife Linda of Asheboro, NC; Tim Beane and his wife Elaine of Asheboro, NC; daughter, Joyce Moore of Gallatin, TN; grandchildren, Shawn Mabe, Brian Beane, Christine Fisher, Mitzi Harrison, Wendy Weeks and Amanda Stout; great grandchildren, Brooke Dalton, Drew Fisher, Jaxon Mabe, Katie Harrison and Gracie Harrison; and brother, Tom Bean of Concord, NC.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 25, 2007 from 1:30-2:30 p.m. at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Ave., Asheboro, other times at the home of Tim Beane, 1759 Southwood Dr., Asheboro.
