Charles Eugene York

Charles "Bugs" Eugene York, age 61, of Sophia died Monday, February 8, 2010 at High Point Regional Hospital, High Point. Mr. York was a native of Randolph County, served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and was a member of Faith Wesleyan Church in Greensboro. He was preceded in death by his father, Junior York and brothers, Randy and Tony York. He is survived by his wife: Cecile Lineberry York, of the home; daughter, Amy Brown and her husband, Chris of Franklinville;; daughter, Leigh Lucas and her husband, Joe of Fayetteville; grandchildren, Halie Hancock, Cash Brown, Dylan and Aimsley Lucas; mother; Nettie York of Asheboro; brothers; Billy York of Franklinville, Shane York of SC and Dennis Hudson of Randleman; sister: Janie Ferguson of Liberty. The family will receive friends Thursday, February 11, 2010 from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC. A Memorial Service will follow at 2:00 PM in the Chapel with Rev. Tim Satterfield officiating. Burial will be held at Randolph Memorial Park, Asheboro.
