Charles Meredith West

Charles Meredith West, age 86, of Asheboro died Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. Mr. West was born April 9, 1930 in Randolph County to Lester and Iona Richardson West. He was retired Merchant Marine with 30 years of service. He is survived by his sons, Jason West and wife Sylvia of Reidsville, Chuck West and wife Chanelle of Asheboro, Doug West and wife Donata of Asheboro; grandchildren, Savannah West, Austin and Mason West, Cameron and Katelyn West. A private service will be held at a later date. Pugh Funeral Home in Asheboro is assisting the family.
