Charles Edward Teague

Charles Edward Teague, Sr., age 82, of 7630 Erect Road, Seagrove died Saturday, July 24, 2010 at Randolph Hospital, Asheboro. Mr. Teague was a native of Randolph County and was a member of Coleridge/Erect Vol. Fire Department for 20 years. He was a member of the Grange, Randolph EMC for 40 years. He was a charter member of Randolph Livestock Association. Mr. Teague was a member of Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church were he was Sunday School Superintendent. He was a Mason and member of Marietta Lodge #444 and on the Randolph County Tax Commission for 15 years. He is survived by his wife: Jane Shuping Teague; sons: C.E. Teague, Jr. and wife Jane of Erect, NC, Merritt Teague of Asheboro, NC, Harold Teague and wife Pam of Erect, NC; 3 grandchildren The family will receive friends Sunday July 25, 2010 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC. The funeral will be Monday July 26, 2010at 2:00 at Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church, 7534 Erect Rd., Seagrove with Rev. Edward Carter officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Masonic Rites with the Marietta Lodge. Memorials may be made to Mt.
