Charles Lee Sweatt, Sr.

Charles Lee Sweatt, Sr., age 57, of 2794 WOW Rd., Randleman died Sunday, February 10, 2013 at Randolph Hospital. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Marlboro Friends Meeting, 2668 Marlboro Church Rd., Sophia with Rev. Ricky Sessoms officiating. Burial will be in the meeting cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service at the Marlboro Friends Meeting Family Life Center and other times at his home. Mr. Sweatt was a native of Rockingham, NC and was the owner of Charles Sweatt Painting. Charles formerly raced at Caraway Speedway in the Pure Stock, Limited, Late Model, and Truck Series divisions with over 200 wins. Charles was an avid deer hunter and fisherman. He is survived by his wife, Susan Harris Sweatt; son, Charles Sweatt, Jr. and his wife Amanda of Sophia; daughter, Amy Sweatt Trotter and her husband Alex of Archdale; step daughter, Angela Deal of High Point; step son, Shawn Deal and his wife Desiree of Columbia, South America; grandchildren, Kelsey Sweatt, Bryson Sweatt, Kassidy Trotter; sister, Tammy Sweatt Matney of Cedar Falls; mother, Sadie Sweatt of Asheboro; brothers, Jimmy Sweatt of Liberty, NC, Riley Sweatt, Jr. and his wife Clara of Liberty, Don Sweatt and his wife Corina of Liberty, Ricky Sweatt and his wife Karen of Liberty, Terry Sweatt and his fiancée Connie Kidd of Liberty.
