Charles Dewey McCaskill

Charles Dewey McCaskill, Jr., age 84, of Randleman died Monday, September 10, 2012 at Randolph Hospice House, Asheboro. Mr. McCaskill was born October 24, 1927 the son of Charles and Annie Mae Cockman McCaskill. Charles served in the US Navy and was the owner of M & M Motor Company, Inc., in Randleman. He was deicated to the business which opened in 1948. Charles was a member of First Baptist Church and a sponsor of several youth sports programs for over 37 years. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and absolutely spoiler of "his" great grandchildren. He is survived by his wife of 61 years: Mildine Herring McCaskill of the home; daughter: Kathy McPherson and her husband Rick of Climax; sons: Charles Dewey McCaskill, III of Greensboro, and Heath McCaskill and his wife Anne of Asheboro; grandchildren, Teresa Petty and her husband Ritchie, Holly McPherson ,Madison McCaskill, Rebekah Needham and Matthew Needham; great grandchildren, Maleah Ramsey, Katherine Ann and Audra; sister: Ruth Ann McCown of Perry, GA. The family will receive friends following the memorial service Thursday, September 13, 2012 at 4:00 pm at First Baptist Church, 100 North Main Street, Randleman with Pastor Chris Heppding and Rev.
