Cecilia Irene Tate Timmons, age 37, of Franklinville died Thursday, August 7, 2014 at Forsyth Medical Center, Winston- Salem.
Cecilia was a native of Randolph County and a former member of the Sophia Support Club. She was a very loving and giving person and enjoyed cooking and playing with children. Cecilia is preceded in death by her son, Juan Carlos Corona; paternal grandfather, Cecil Tate and maternal grandparents, James and Irene Corum.
She is survived by her fiancé, Juan Corona, of Asheboro; daughters: Lakara Timmons and Denali Corona both of the home; parents, Danny and Barbara Corum of the home; sister: Jennifer Brown and her husband Dustin of Asheboro; brother: Danny Ray Corum of the home; grandmother, Bonnie Tate of Asheboro; nephews, Connor Brown and Waylon Corum; niece, Emma Grace Moss who loved their aunt “Cece”. Several uncles, aunts and numerous cousins.
The family will receive friends Sunday, August 10, 2014 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC.
The funeral service will be held Monday, August 11, 2014 at 2:00 pm at Whitehall Evangelical Methodist Church, 3335 Wesleyan Rd., Randleman with Rev. Jon Perdue officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
