Cecil Eugene Boling

Cecil Eugene Boling, age 84, of Sophia passed away on Thursday, April 4, 2019 at Randolph Hospice House.

Mr. Boling was born in Randolph County on May 24, 1934 to Clarence and Mary Underwood Boling. He was retired from Acme-McCrary after 47 years of service. Cecil was a member of Shady Grove Christian Church. In addition to his parents, Cecil was preceded in death by his sister, Annette Milon and nephew, Phillip Patterson.

He is survived by his daughter, Lisa Spencer and husband Tracy of Sophia; 3 grandchildren, Tony and fiancée Lois, David, Renee and husband Matt; 7 great grandchildren, Zoe, Xander, Zane, Zaxton, Kailey, Cheyenne, and Dixie; sister, Martha Saunders of Asheboro; niece, Pamela Saunders of Asheboro; nephew, David Patterson of Asheboro; and uncle, Howard Boling of Randleman.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 7, 2019 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue in Asheboro. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 2:00 pm at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jeff Freeman officiating. Burial will follow in Randolph Memorial Park.
