Cathy Fay Roberts Penninger

Cathy Fay Roberts Penninger, age 60, of Asheboro passed away on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at Randolph Health. Mrs. Penninger was born in Asheboro on April 24, 1957 to John and Myrtle Maness Roberts. In addition to her parents, Cathy was preceded in death by her husband of 25 years, Ronald Penninger, and sisters, Sandy Roberts and Peggy Robbins. Cathy loved being outside, her animals, and her grandchildren. She is survived by her daughters, April Hernandez and Hannah Penninger both of Asheboro; grandchildren, Christian Benitez, Erica Hernandez, Madison Smith, and Avery Smith all of Asheboro; and sister, Nancy Nichols of Denton. The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 1, 2018 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro. Pugh Funeral Home in Asheboro is serving the Penninger family.
