Catherine Freeman Saunders

Catherine Freeman Saunders, age 88, of 162 Holly Hills Dr., Troy died Monday, January 28, 2013 at her home. Catherine was born October 28, 1924 at Montgomery County, NC, the daughter of John Lewis and Lori Rinny Britt Freeman. She was a member of Macedonia Presbyterian Church of Candor and a homemaker. She is survived by her husband: Leonard L Saunders of the home; one daughter: Kathy Saunders Spivey of Wilmington; one son: Leonard Perry Saunders of Jackson Springs; grandchildren: Felicia Spivey, Donna Spivey Weiss, Jeff Saunders and Josh Saunders; great-grandchildren: Phoebe Weiss, Archie Weiss and Peyton Saunders. The family will receive friends Wednesday, January 30, 2013 one hour prior to the 11 am service at Pugh-Troy Funeral Home, 211 North Main Street, Troy, NC with Rev. Matthew Baker officiating.
