Catherine Beatrice Mandigo LaMora

Catherine Beatrice Mandigo LaMora, age 87, of Asheboro (formerly of Tupper Lake, New York) died Friday, March 3, 2017 at Randolph Hospice House, Asheboro. Catherine was born October 28, 1929, the daughter of Clifton and Louise Mandigo. Mrs. LaMora was a native of Conifer, New York and of Catholic Faith. She was formerly employed with Sunmont State School as a CNA and with the Postal Service in New York. In addition to her parents, Catherine was preceded in death by her husband: Raymond LaMora and 5 siblings. She is survived by one daughter: Diana Cribbs and her husband Edward of Asheboro, NC; grandchildren: Raymond (Tammy) Planty of Old Forge, NY, Lorie Dolan of Asheboro, NC, Gena (Bryan) Sulzer of Lugoff, SC, Michael (Melissa) LaFave of Winston- Salem, NC, Carrie (Eric) Haywood of Troy, NC and Michael (Tara) Cribbs of Greensboro, NC; great grandchildren: Oliver Planty, Garrett Planty, Jessica Dolan, John Dolan, Desiree Arzuaga, Carol Ann Galimore, Cory Williams, Andrea Sulzer, Chace LaFave, Kayla Haywood, Hunter Haywood, Tyler Cribbs and Sydney Cribbs; great great grandchildren: Christopher Hill, Zoey Hill, Jackson Arzuaga and Conner Arzuaga; sister: Roberta Allendorph; brothers: Pennel Mandigo and Lee Mandigo; and extended family and friends. A funeral Mass will be held at Thursday, March 6, 2017 at 10:00 AM at St Joseph Catholic Church, 512 W. Wainman Av., Asheboro, NC with Father Philip Kollithanath officiating. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Tupper Lake, New York.
